Upcoming Services

Sunday, Dec 11 – 9:30am and 11:15am
The Inward Winter Dares to Bloom – This special music service features the tunes of local beloved folk musician Andrew McNight. We will consider the darkness of these winter days and work together to discern the gifts of the winter season – of rest, rejuvenation and the inward search for peace.

Sunday, Dec 18 – 9:30am and 11:15am
Journeys of the Heart – The tradition of Las Posadas, which dates back more than 400 years to Spain, reenacts the biblical story of Mary and Joseph traveling to Bethlehem and seeking lodging. In the 9:30 service, Intern Minister John Monroe will reflect on how we might see ourselves in that story – in learning to open our hearts to others, in making journeys and seeking acceptance. At the Intergenerational 11:15 service, the children will bring Las Posadas to life, inviting us all to join in the fun.

Saturday, Dec 24 – 5pm and 7pm
5pm: Lessons and Carols – A joyful all ages holiday service of storytelling with special music, led by Rev. Anya Sammler-Michael and Intern Minsiter John Monroe. 7pm: Candlelight Christmas Eve – A spiritualy invigorating holiday service with ritual and rich choral songs, led by Rev. Anya Sammler-Michael and Intern Minister John Monroe.
